Choir and Music at TRINITY HALE

The Church has a fine 2 manual pipe organ. Built by Jardines of Manchester it contains over 1500 pipes some over 100 years old. It was completely rebuilt in 1986 by George Sixsmith & Son of Ashton under Lyne when a new drawstop console equipped with modern playing aids was provided. Our team of organists is led by Organist & Choirmaster David Rickett.

The Choir currently has around 25 members. Under the expert guidance of Mary Maiden A.R.M.C.M. we lead the singing in worship Sunday by Sunday occasionally presenting an Anthem or Worship Song. From time to time we will present an entire service with a Cantata or other selection of music. The choir is a corporate member of the URC Musicians Guild which provides support and fellowship for those involved in church music. We meet for practice on Fridays at 8 pm and are always pleased to welcome new singers. If you are interested please contact David, Mary or any choir member.
