Worship and Learning for Children and Young People

At Trinity Hale Church, Family worship is held each week at 10.45am. This is a traditional service to which all are welcome. Quiet toys, books, and activities are provided in a small area at the back of the church. There are “busy boxes” for children to use either at the back of the church or in the pews.

Every Sunday at 10.45am there is a crèche held in the Round Room. Parents can take their babies and small children to the Round Room where they will be cared for or parents can stay with their children if they wish.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month during the 10.45am service, a worship and learning opportunity is held in the Round Room for children of 3 years old and over. These sessions use the “Roots” material and are based on the weekly lectionary. They include a bible based story, prayer, singing and creative activities.

All Age Worship is held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 9.30am. These services are short and informal and offer family friendly worship in a relaxed atmosphere. Children are free to move about, make a noise and generally have a good time.

Refreshments are served in the coffee lounge after the service.
