Competitions
2010-11

The Club Championship was won by Patricia Hazlehurst and Val Thomas with a score of 56.30%. The President's Cup was presented by the Chairman at the AGM. Sheila Tyror & George Tyror were second.
On March 31st, 14 qualifiers for the Registered Pairs Quaich competed for the trophy. The winners were Sheila and George Tyror with a score of 63.14%. The trophy was presented to them at the AGM by the Chairman. Jean Daintree and Jane Sutcliffe were runners up.
The National Charity Bridge Simultaneous Pairs event was held on 17th March. As usual it was a very enjoyable event. Locally, Patricia Hazlehurst and Roy Cockerham were the club winners with a score of 58.65% being placed 493 nationally. Sheila and George Tyror were second with a score of 57.69%.
However Di and Brian Budenberg were third with a score of 56.41% locally but 61.01% nationally so placed 129.
