Bible Study and Mid-Week Communion
September & October 2010
We
are taking a break in the Altrincham United Reformed Church Mid-Week
Programme of Bible Studies and Communion Services to enable maximum
participation of members and associates in the Altrincham Christians
Together, Churches Together in Hale and Churches Together in Timperley
Courses ‘When I survey … Christ’s cross and ours’
and in the AURC and St. Peter’s Hale World Church Meetings which
run throughout Lent.
After Easter we resume our normal pattern of meeting on First Wednesdays
of each month, Evenings, at Woodlands Timperley and Third Thursdays
of each month, Mornings, at Trinity Hale.

Each
of the Vision4Life studies is a conversation exploring a different
encounter between Jesus and those he meets as described in Mark’s
Gospel. The conversations aim to:

Build our confidence in actively exploring the Bible,
• Make connections between the Bible and our life stories,
• Find fresh vision for the business of being human
today.
Altrincham
United Reformed Church is one of about 600 local churches participating
in The URC Vision for Life Process in which we seek renewal, as a
vibrant and sustainable Christian community, nationally and locally,
by re-engagement with the Bible, in Prayer and Evangelism.
